Corbett Tiger Reserve is India’s first and one of her finest tiger reserves.
Established in the year 1936 as Hailey National Park, it was renamed in the
year 1957 in honor of the legendary hunter turned naturalist, author and photographer
Major Jim Corbett who spent most of his years in this area and contributed in
setting up the this park.Nested in the foothills of Himalayas and covering a
total area of 1318.54 sq.km, Corbett lies in the upper terai region in the newly
formed state of Uttaranchal Pradesh.
Day
1 - Delhi :
Arrival with warm welcome at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Afternoon
proceed on sight seeing of New Delhi- a metropolis with a rich cultural background.
Over night at the hotel.
Day 2 - Corbett National Park :
Cozy mornings drive to the Corbett National Park and check-in. Rest of the
day at leisure to enjoy the rejuvenating environment of this beautiful place.
Over night at the hotel.
Day 3 - Corbett National Park :
Early morning jeep safari to the tiger reserve to spot the king of the jungle
and other beautiful animals. In the later half we again proceed for the Jungle
safari. Evening to enjoy the visit in the near by village and see the life
of the innocent local villagers. Over night at the hotel.
Day
4 - Corbett National Park :
Proceed for early morning Himalayan Sunrise viewpoint drive. And in the latter
half we proceed for Angling or fishing trip. Eveing at leisure and proceed
for night jungle jeep safari. Over night at the hotel.
Day 5 - Delhi :
Morning safe for Birdwatcher’s nature walks. We depart for Delhi in the
later half taking the exciting memories as the souvenirs of this beautiful
place. Over night stay in Delhi.
Day 6 - Delhi :
Morning at leisure and then transfer to the airport to board the flight for
your onward journey.
