Day
1 - Arrive Kolkatta (Calcutta) :
Upon arrival we are met and greeted by Great Vacation’s Staff and transferred
to your prebooked Hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Evening take a
cruise down the River Hoogly to see the temples, ghats and markets.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 2 - Kolkatta :
After breakfast we start our city tour of Calcutta - once the capital of the
British Empire,still remains the cultural capital of India with a strong tradition
in literature and fine arts. It is also the gateway to the beautiful North
Eastern state of India, where the visitor can only gaze in wonder at their
pristine beauty. The city tour includes visit to the Fort William, Victoria
memorial, the Indian museum , St Paul’s cathedral , Birla Planetarium
and the Botanical gardens.
Overnight at the Hotel.
Day 3 - To Guwahati By Flight To Tezpur :
Assistance on arrival at Guwahati Airport and drive to Tezpur. Overnight at
Hotel.
Day 4 - Itanagar :
Morning drive to Itanagar.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 5 - Ziro :
Early morning drive to Ziro (150 km 7hrs) Enroute visit Nishi villages. Ziro
at an altitude of 5754 feet is almost a level valley enclosed on all sides
by pine-clad low stooping hills. This is called Apatani Plateau and is famous
for Paddy-cum-Fish culture. Post lunch visit the Apatani Tribal villages.
Overnight Blue Pine Hotel, Ziro.
Day 6 - Ziro :
ziro (1560m), is a plateau arruonded by Apatani tribal villages, Dibbo –
Hija-Bulla-Hari and Hong. The uniqueness of Aptani tribe is tooting on women
face and its nose plug. Aptani, like other ull day at Ziro visiting Apatani
Tribal villages.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 7 - Daporijo :
Morning drive to Daporijo enroute visits Hill Miri Tribal villages. Post lunch
visit Tagin Tribal villages.
Overnight Guest / Circuit House.
Day 8 - To Along :
Morning drive to Along. Post lunch visit Adi (Galong) Tribal villages near.
Overnight at Guest / Circuit House..
Day 9 - To Pasighat :
Morning drive to Pasighat. Post lunch visit Adi (Minyong, Pasi etc) Tribal
village near river Yomgo and later visit Patum bridges, a cane and bamboo
hanging bridge/swinging bridge over river yomgo.
Overnight Guest / Circuit House.
Day 10 - To Dibrugarh :
Morning drive and cross Brahmaputra by Ferry and reach Dibrugarh. Check in to
Chang Bunglow or Hotel Natraj.
Day 11 - To Kolkatta By Flight :
Morning transfer to the airport for flight to Kolkatta.
Rest of the day for private activities.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 12 - Leave Kolkatta :
After what will have been a majestic way to see and experience royal India,
we bid farewell as we are transferred to the airport for our flight back home.
